A shop window that takes orders.
Most small shops and restaurants have a website that does nothing. A photo of the front, a menu as a PDF nobody can read on a phone, and a phone number. Meanwhile the orders go through a delivery app that takes thirty per cent, or through a marketplace that owns the customer. The work worth paying for is the work that changes that.
We have shipped this, not just pitched it.
Sell Any Vans
Our own business. A multi step valuation form, WhatsApp routing and a page for every location, make and vehicle type. Live and taking enquiries.

The delivery apps own your customers
Thirty per cent of every order, and you never learn who ordered it. Your own ordering page costs you a card fee instead, and the customer list is yours.
The menu is a PDF
Nobody pinches and zooms a PDF on a phone at seven in the evening. They go somewhere else. A menu should be a page that loads instantly and updates when the price changes.
Nobody can find you
Small shops lose to whoever ranks for their own street and their own product. That is a solvable problem and it is mostly not about the website looking better.
Stock and prices go stale
If updating the site means ringing whoever built it, it will not get updated. You need to change a price or mark something sold out yourself, in a minute, from your phone.
Software and marketing for shops & restaurants.
Online ordering and collection
Take orders directly, for delivery or collection, with the payment going to you and the customer details staying yours.
Table booking
Bookings taken on the site, with the covers and times you actually want, rather than through a platform that charges per head.
Menus and product pages you edit yourself
Change a price, add a special, mark a line sold out. From a phone, in under a minute, with no invoice attached.
Online shop
For clothing and grocery: a proper catalogue, sizes and variants, stock counts, delivery zones and click and collect.
Local search
Ranking for the things people near you actually search, which is usually your product plus your area rather than your business name.
Photography that is not the problem
Bad photographs sink a food or clothing site faster than anything else. We will tell you when that is the thing to fix first.

Straight answers.
Can we stop paying commission to the delivery apps?
Partly, and honestly not entirely at first. The apps bring you customers you would not otherwise reach. What your own ordering page does is take the repeat orders off them, which is where the margin is. Most places run both for a while.
How much does a small shop website cost?
It depends on whether it takes payment. A site that shows a menu and takes bookings is a different job from a shop with a few hundred products, variants and stock counts. Tell us which you need and you will get a number, not a range.
Can I update it myself?
Yes, and you should insist on it with anyone you hire. If changing a price means emailing your web developer, the site will be out of date within a month.
Do we need an app?
Almost certainly not. Customers will not install an app for one shop. A website that works properly on a phone does the same job and costs a fraction.
What about Deliveroo and Just Eat listings?
Keep them. They are a marketing channel. The mistake is letting them be the only way to order, because then the relationship is theirs and not yours.
Tell us what you sell and how people order it now, and you will get a straight answer on what would change that.
A couple of lines is enough to start. You will get a straight answer on what it needs, what it costs and how long it takes.
Tell us what you need building and who it is for. You will hear back from the person who would do the work.
