We spend our own money on ads. It concentrates the mind.
We run Google Ads for our own vehicle buying businesses, so every wasted click comes out of our pocket. That is why we will not send paid traffic to a homepage, and why we verify the conversion tag before the first pound is spent. We have already been bitten by a tag carrying the wrong ID and reporting nothing.
The problems we are normally called in to fix.
Spend rising, nobody knows what worked
Clicks and enquiries both go up and no one can attribute one to the other, usually because conversion tracking was never verified.
Every campaign points at the homepage
The ad promises one thing and the page says another, so the click is paid for and then wasted.
Budget eaten by the wrong searches
Jobs, courses, free templates and DIY queries quietly consume a third of the spend with no negative keyword list in place.
What google ads and lead generation means here.
Tracking first, spend second
Analytics, conversion actions and a distinct thank-you URL, all verified before a campaign goes live.
Campaign structure
Tight ad groups on exact and phrase match, location targeting, and a negative keyword list from day one.
Landing pages that match the ad
A page per campaign, where the headline answers the search that was typed.
Lead capture and routing
Forms, call tracking and WhatsApp routing, with the source of every enquiry recorded.
Management against cost per enquiry
Bids, budgets and search terms reviewed against enquiries and their quality, not against clicks.
The outcome we aim at.
- A cost per enquiry you can see, and therefore reduce
- Every enquiry attributed to the campaign that produced it
- Budget kept away from searches that never convert
- Landing pages that answer the search that was typed
What actually moves the price.
- The competitiveness of your terms, which sets the click price
- How many campaigns and landing pages are needed
- Whether tracking exists or has to be built
- How quickly leads are followed up, which decides what a click is worth
We quote a fixed shape of work with a price and a date on it, rather than an hourly rate that grows.
Sectors that need this most.
Automotive
Dealer websites, vehicle marketplaces, valuation tools and the SEO and paid campaigns that fill them.
Professional Services
Law firms, dental and private clinics, accountants and recruiters. High value clients, so marketing pays for itself quickly.
Construction & Local Services
Construction, trades, home improvement, property and care providers. High job values and searchable local demand.
Straight answers.
What budget do we need to start?
Enough to gather data within a reasonable period, which depends entirely on your click price. We would rather run one tightly focused campaign properly than three on a budget too thin to learn anything from.
Do you charge a percentage of spend?
We prefer a fixed management fee, because a percentage rewards us for spending your money rather than for lowering your cost per enquiry.
Can you use Performance Max?
Not until something is already working. It spends the budget on places you cannot identify, which is fine once you have conversion data and dangerous before.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. It is registered to your company, and if we part ways you keep the account, the history and the conversion data.
